Kodo is an annual tufted grass that was domesticated in India almost 3000 years ago. The grains vary in colour from light red to dark grey, and like most millets the fibre content is very high. The Kodo millet, also known as cow grass, rice grass, ditch millet, Native paspalum or Indian crown grass. Kodo Millets are naturally grown without the use of chemical fertilizers.
